This is from my actual experience:
1. Put washing powder in case #1 (right side of the case)
2. Put softener in case #2, if needed (middle part of the case)
3. Close the door firmly
4. Press the power ON (right hand side of the machine)
5. Press program "I" and also "II". (Left hand side of the machine). This step is a MUST and very important, otherwise, the machine will not run
