I have called CK just now, they said the cabinet is sitting on top of a wood stand. If we pour water on the floor, the stand will be damaged...

I talked to my designer about the set up, he suggested to demolish the cabinet and put in a shower facility for the maid. As a budgetary minded peasant, I prefer having the original cabinet to be soaked, swollen and rotten before I pay extra money to do the un-necessary works..

I just asked the designer to change the tap with additional fan out for shower hose connection, and the T shape steel rod to be mounted for haning shower curtains, thats it...

Your ways should work... as I am doing smiliar things. But may be you should ask your designer to cover the 'foot' with cement and tiles, the cabinet's body and toilet door should be fine with shower curtain!

Budgets are not our first priorities!!! Otherwise, we all can pack and move... haha...

But just want to spend the money wisely and it has to look reasonably worthwhile!

Still too far from the end... as I keep adding new ideas!!! That's why I don't use designer company... I need flexibility.
